A set of four 1970s Holmegaard drinking glasses, mouth-blown in Denmark. Made from thick clear glass with heavy bases and intentionally distorted forms, each glass bends, ripples, and warps slightly differently, giving the set the appearance of ordinary glassware caught somewhere between solid and liquid.
The irregular surfaces distort whatever is seen through them, while the substantial clear bases give each glass a sculptural weight. Functional Danish glassware that looks just a little bit wrong—in the best way.
Sold as a set of four.

CURATOR’S NOTE
When I was thrifting, I spotted one of these and immediately picked it up, praying I’d find a full set. Luckily, I did. These glasses are so cool without trying too hard—they’re liquid glasses for liquids.

Mouth-blown glass will naturally have variations between individual pieces. Previously owned with signs of age and use. Please review all photographs for condition and individual variations between the four glasses.
